West Point is a small town located within King William County where the Pamunkey and Mattaponi Rivers meet and form the York River. The focal point of this older town is a paper mill which is still very much operational. The land mass is 6.7 square miles and the population is just under 3,314. The town is known for its quality schools; however if you decide to live in West Point you will pay property taxes to both West Point and King William County.
Interesting trivia: West Point was built on a Native American village known as Cinquoteck.
