Relocation Appraisal

A relocation appraisal evaluates “the probable selling price of a property within a forecasted marketing period.” In other words, what will the house sell for in the near future based on a typical marketing period of, say, 90 days? A “Relo” appraisal is not appraising for market value; it is to estimate anticipated sales price. A relocation appraisal goes into significantly more detail and has a much greater focus on current competitive properties.
